Hi all,

I just installed the 4.6 desktop software into my PC and checked for updates.
The latest available is 4.2.x for Bell.
Thanks a lot,

Floren

Please read this: http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-software/122476-beta-os-postings-please-read-asap.html

OS 4.5 has not been released by any carriers for the 8830. It's been stated on this board many times: google does wonders for you.

4.2 is the operating system software for the device. Some of us are using unofficial beta software (4.5) which is NOT available on this site.

Bell Mobility is too concerned with finding a way to disable GPS on the 8830 (a la Verizon) to concern itself with actually delivering a new OS for the device.

I was reading this post (http://www.blackberryforums.com/1132947-post24.html), that's what got me confused...
Thanks for the info, guys. I guess the best way is to wait for the official release.
