8830 on BES with BB Messenger contact issues

Hello,

Not sure if others are having the same problem with BB messenger, but worth asking the question.

If upgrading the f/w or doing a BES reset, I lose my BB messenger contacts. The main problem is having to add the people all over again. Sounds a little petty, I know.

Any help would be great.

The contacts are store on the BlackBerry. You need to perform a backup/restore using the Desktop Manager.

Tried that and it didn't work.
