BB outage in Netherlands and Belgium

For the few who might be concerned here:


Due to construction works in the Netherlands the Blackberry services are down. Construction workers demolished two fibre connections. The location has been defined, the cables are being traced and then repaired.
At this moment we can't indicate an exact time to resolve. Technicians are looking for alternatives for rerouting the connection for Blackberry services.

E-Plus and KPN are also affected, keep this in mind in case you receive complaints from customers that are roaming on these networks.

I'm on BASE in BE and have been down since this morning too.

Interestingly, the WiFi connection seems to be down as well. Usually, if I have no mobile signal my WiFi works fine. But it has not since the fibre break in NL

I thought that when one used Wifi that all data went directly over the internet to BB servers bypassing the mobile provider.

Do you have any new info? It's still out (24 hours now) and all the BASE tech support people say is that it's being worked on but we have no idea when it will be fixed.
