Questions about buying used Blackberry with or without SIM cards

I am still toying on whether or not I will like a BB. I have come up with an idea but not sure it will work.

I now have a i730 and am a NEXTEL customer.

Can I buy a used 7520 and take the SIM card out of my 730 and put it in the 7520. Will it work as a phone? I know that Email and internet will not work but I would just use it as a phone for a couple of weeks to see if I like it or not.

Used 7520's are relatively cheap and this way I can make sure I like it before I spend the $$$ to buy a new fully functional 7520.

only one issue you will run into if and when nextel discovers the 7520 they will add a 3 mb account to your phone with out your knowledge. Seen it done way to many times..

In theory I could test the BB for a week or so and know if I like it or not correct?

Yes you can.

yes you could test it but you might get the data added to your account during that week. If you get on the internet at all that week it will show up in their system as a BB and they will charge you pay as you go internet and its big bucks
