Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.... The 8320 is a GSM/EDGE device and the 8330 is a CDMA device

And the 8320 has WiFi and the 8330 doesn't. They are very different devices.

"World Edition" is a phrase used by CDMA carriers (Verizon and Sprint) to note that their devices work outside of North America - they are dual band CDMA (North AMerica) and the rest of the world (GSM). AT&T and T-Mobile don't advertise World Edition because all of their devices work outside of North America.

You are not wrong. The 8320 is a GSM device, meaning it works on AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S. The 8330 is CDMA for Verizon/Alltel/Sprint. The 8330 won't work on the first two, and the 8320 won't work on the latter three.

The 8320 has WiFi, too, which is sweet.

In my experience, the Verizon "World Edition" is a load of cr@<hidden>! Every one of my Verizon users that have taken their BBs overseas have had no luck getting them to work. Every AT&T user I've had had had nor problems at all (myself included)...

EVDO isnt any faster then EDGE... the processor limits its... i have done side by side comparisons and there isnts much difference... tho i will admit the EVDO is a TAD faster... but not by much
