Is it possible to wipe a device if a few keys are not working? For example, I want to wipe a device, but my 'b' and 'a' buttons do not work, so I can't type the word 'BlackBerry' as requested before the wipe. Is there a series of keys I can press to generate a wipe without haveing to go through the security settings and entering 'BlackBerry'?

Set a password then enter the wrong password ten times and that will wipe it. I believe Desktap Manager may also allow you to wipe it now, but I rarely use it so you'd have to check. I think there is another program, again, I haven't used it called jl_cmdr or something. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

That will work, or wipe it using JL_CMDER (Javaloader) through Desktop Manager and the USB connection.

This would typically work, however the device prompts you to enter the word blackberry after multiple attempts. Seeing that the b and a keys do not work, this will be an issue.

JL_Cmder will be the easiest way.
