Should i switch to verizon for the storm

-_- I cant decide. Right now I'm still on my parents T Mobile family plan. But I'm tempted to start up a Verizon account with a close friend...

I currently use a 8320... I need the wifi because i dont get service in my basement room.
Is verizon service way better than Tmobile?


As for GPS, can i buy a bluetooth GPS and connect it to my phone and not have to pay verizon for using the Devices GPS?

First thing you need to do is find out if vzw will work where you need it,in this case your basement.

I believe that even with external puck you will need vzw's gps service

If service works for you. I say go for it just remember that verizon has a 30 day trial. I would try it with a temporary number then if it works port your number to replace the temp number. (Make sure they will let you)

Verizon's service has more coverage than tmo. Also Verizon has their "Test Drive" program or 30 day guarantee.

Don't like the service then simply switch back to tmo.

As for GPS. Rumor is it's unlocked and you don't need Verizon's GPS service. If it its locked you can still buy your own GPS puck to run 3rd party applications.
