So I'm running Redirector at work to get work emails on my phone.

I've got the Rogers 15$ unlimited email plan. That includes unlimited email, 1.5mb data I believe and unlimited PIN messages.

Hmm. How is the data getting to my phone? It has my PIN #.. so.. is it sending a PIN message to my phone with the data?

Should fall under email but you probably want to confirm this with Rogers. By "PIN messages" they literally mean PIN messages (also includes Blackberry Messenger) -- not email. A PIN message can only come from another BB. You can determine if an inbound message is a PIN by looking at its header. If it says "Received Using: Peer-to-peer" then it's a PIN message. If not, it's not.
