When a device is on the BES system, are all email accounts, SMS, MMS, etc going through BES and available to the administrator ?

No. BIS accounts do not touch the BES - the only thing the admin can do is prevent BIS accounts from being added. MMS and SMS is handled by the carrier, again not through the BES. However, MMS and SMS can be logged at the BES - this requires the phone to upload that data to the BES (via an IT Policy).

Incorrect. BIS accounts will touch BES if the admin wishes them to. BES can force BIS replies to be routed through BES, thus making them susceptible to monitoring.
