8820 EMAIL/FB Problem!

Hey guys!

There seems to be something wrong with my 8820, please help.

I am not getting ANY e-mails in my inbox on the phone, yes I've tried a hard reset like 100 times :(
I am not getting in any e-mails in not just one but all my inboxes.

Furthermore, My facebook will not receive updates for some reason. So i'm stuck with notifications from yesterday.

Please help!

Do you see EDGE at the top of your main screen anywhere? Or do you see OFF or edge (lowercase)?

Yeah, EDGE is there. Everything is working fine except these because i can use EDGE and WiFi and receive/make calls/texts.

I can also send e-mails, but not receive them.

Please help, this is extremely frustrating!

Also, my phone will not stop refreshing! I get the sand timer every 2 seconds and it is impossible to type!

Should I just wipe my phone and upgrade to 4.5.0.108?

If I do so and back up my phone currently, will it save the settings and just give me the same errors?

Issue solved!

Seemed like deleting facebook and then doing a battery pull did the trick.
