Hi,
Is there a way to simply hide all icons and them simply restore them to normal view?
Perhaps by using a assigned key?
Or does anyone know of an application for this?
Thanks.

I don't think you can ever hide the options icon.

There are a few themes out there that have blank home screens. When you press the menu key, all of the icons appear. Just look for a theme that has a blank home screen, apply your custom picture to the background, and there you go.

No, but you can move it into a folder, and then hide the folder. Same with Manage Connections.
