I have a 8330 curve and have had lots of problems with page rendering and nothing I tried would fix it until I went into the browser configuration and turned off "support style sheets".
After turning it off my problem went away!
I also turned off "support javascript" and now web pages load very quickly and if the web page needs java it will let you know so then you can go back into config and turn. It on.Not a proper fix but it took care of my problem and hope it works as well for you.
