I have a Motorola h700 bluetooth headset and the only thing that works is voice command and the phone. Is there anyway to get music and video sounds with this headset?

I don't think you can. To get music/audio over BT you'll need a BT headset that supports A2DP. Generally speaking those are stereo headsets, not the standard one ear type headsets.

That is correct. Music will not play over a single ear Bluetooth headset. You need Bluetooth headphones.

I can do it with my Jabra BT8010 headset. It is a stereo headset that disconnects so you can just wear the single ear piece and listen to sound files through it when not using it as a hands free headset. I use it to listen to podcasts, so I just convert them all to mono 128/44 before moving them to phone. That gets the best audio quality into a single ear.
