Please help!

Just got a new Blackberry Storm today. Went home and switched it on. It took a few minutes to load and then displayed the main menu.

I then opened the browser which loaded.

Then suddenly while entering a url the screen went black and the red light began flashing.

I have since tried leaving it to charge, taking the battery out etc but nothing is helping.

I cant switch it on or anything. The only thing it does is flash the red light when connected to a power source.

I also tried using the desktop manager to reset it but although my computer detects the phone, the desktop manager does not.

Any ideas?
