When looking at messges or SMS I use the 2 line method. Most of the time I dont' have to "open" them because I can read in the single line. It's annoying to have them marked as Unread. So, normally I have to hit ALT-U to mark them not read. This is not condusive to handed use (which is often). I would like to swap what "U" does (Goes to Next Unread; which i never use)with "ALT-U".

Other than this, I LOVE the Bold.

Is it possible to swap the functionality between the two?

I don't think you can change the default BB keyboard shortcuts.

This is not condusive to handed use (which is often).
You don't have to hit Alt and U at the same time. ;-)

And having them marked as read decreases font size and gives you more reading room. If you don't like the smaller font on read messages, change the font to bold so even when it's been opened, it will still look unopened. Maybe?
