Default work number?

When I had a 7290, I used to be able to look up a work colleague, see their 4 digit extension number, click and choose call work, the BB would dial the 10-digit phone number and after answering dial the 4 digit work number.

I now have an 8310 and it tries to dial just the 4 digit number.

How can I enter the main number so that it does this every time.

That works as well, but somehow my old 7290 "picked up" that all of my "work" contacts had the same first 10-digit number.

I think maybe it is exchange/BES related, because now we have at least 15 users complaining of the same thing.

go into Call log -> Options -> Smart Dialing and enter your office number there.
