BlackBerry Desktop Manager with Media Manager free from RIM
BlackBerry - Desktop Software - BlackBerry Desktop Software at BlackBerry.com (http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/)

bro which exectly version i need to download too connect my bb.

Use the latest version 4.7 to start. If you have problems with that version, complete uninstall the software through Windows Control Panel and then drop back and install version 4.2 SP2 if using WIN XP or version 4.6 if using Vista.

Good Luck!

If you want to transfer media with Desktop Manager you will need a version with Media Manager included. Be patient when installing, it takes quite a long time to install Roxio Media Manager. It looks as if the program is hanging when it is not.

You can only protect the entire BlackBerry with a password, not just images folder.
Options/Security Options/General Settings/Password Enabled

no that i remember. But if you password protected it will be completely protected..

BTW if you a have a 8700g the DM with media manager will not work for transferring photos and Mp3. At least DM 4.3 Because 8700 doesn't not bring SDCard. I only do it via Bluetooth.

You could do a search to the forum i learn How-To....

"Purchased"???? Didn't you state earlier this was your "Big Brothers" Device that your cousin borrowed and returned it without an OS??

As has been previously stated NO you can not password protect a specific file or folder, only the whole device.
