Email Alert Tone

As a new 7100g user I'm still trying to find what I can and can't change. Can I change the tone that my 7100g uses to alert me to new emails? If I can change that.... Can I also change my VM notifacation tone? I'm hoping I can change boyh alert tones to a more alerting tone.

You can change the e-mail alert tone, and most ever other alert tone by finding the Profiles option and looking there.

when editing the sound profiles, what is the difference between "Messages" and "Level 1 Messages" on my 7100T? and why is there a sound alert setting for the browser? when/why would the browser emit an audible alert?

Level 1 messages has come up many times; please search for it.

Some web sites have auto updating web pages. The browser alert will let you know that a new or updated web page has been received.

Being a Newbie I can't seem to locate my Profiles on my 7100g to change my email alerts. I would like to change my email alert tone to a tone that's more noticeable than the 3 Beeps.

I think that is also found in the excellent online help system on the 7100.
