Trying to upload video to BB. Which format?

I have been using Nero 9 for up loading video clips to my 8800. I have found that the BB does not handle the uploads very well. In one case I had only audio no video. So I tried another format and got the same thing. Another format and the BB said can not read this file.
I even tried making a file with the Ipod format and that did not work either. All of these are mpg4 digital but Nero gives you choices of screen size and the only one that works was the smallest screen of 176x144
The formats I have available are AVI, WMV, Mpeg 1 Mpeg 2 and Nero Digital and Digita AVC.
The profiles are Mpeg4 3GPP Which worked by small screen of 176x144
Another profile is PSP and the profile depends on the format chosen.

This is quite confusing so I hope someone can help.
