Hi, sorry but im totaly new to the BB 8310. Just a quick one, I have noticed that after switching on the BB it takes a fair amount of time to actualy switch on and get to the point where i enter my pin, rough est it takes aprox 3 to 5 min, is this normal? or is there something wrong with my pride and joy?

This is pretty standard. My BB takes a few mins to boot up.

Welcome to BBF, yup that's absolutely normal. You don't need to turn it off every night though, you can just put it on standby mode and it will power up back fast.
