Hello.
Just to be clear. In order to deal with some of the speaker issues, I should buy 3.5 mm headphones and the adapter. Since I believe the device takes 2.5 mm

Yea the 8830 has 2.5 mm head phone jack on it, I got a head set from Altec Lansing which has a 2.5 plug and 3.5 adapter.(Which worked out nicely when I got my Curve)

I bought set of headphones from Radio Shack called Body Glove. No adapter needed. They prongs stayed in my ears after a long run. Only cost be $35.

I'm gonna check that out.. The Altec Lansing head phones I have have like 3-4 different ear bud combos.. I got one more combo to check out.. They fall out of my ear while I mow the lawn. I haven't even tried to go running with those on yet.

(What's a long run for you?)
