Tmobile EDGE service on 8820 v4.5.0.81

I just upgraded to the v4.5.0.81 OS on my tmobile 8820. When my phone gets service for the first time it connects to EDGE then immediately connects to UMA and won't switch back. Even when I turn the wireless off and then back on it does the same thing. Anyone else having this problem or know a solution?

UMA means it's connecting to your wifi for data, phone and sms. If you don't want to use UMA, then turn off wifi or go to Options >Mobile Network >Connection Preference >Mobile Network Only.

This is the first time I've ever seen someone come here and complain that their phone connected to UMA and won't disconnect. Usually folks complain that they can't get UMA.
