Newbie here with 2 questions, please help

So I just got a Curve on Verizon's network. I am using msn.com email and everything is working well, but when I check my email on my computer it doesn't disappear as a "new" message on my Curve. Hubby is using yahoo and his updates without problem. Is it a msn issue?

Also, the Blackberry Messenger thingie...I'm not getting the request I know has been sent. Do I have to sign up for that somewhere other than my handheld?

MSN and Yahoo have different mail reconcile capabilities. Yahoo reconciles the 'read' messages, etc., MSN mail does not.

For the BBM, did someone send you a request or you sent a request? Make sure they (or you) for best results, use the PIN number of the other contact, to add you (or you add them) as a BBM contact.

Your pin... options > Status.
