I posted this on another rather popular blackberry site and got no reponse...so I figured I'd post it here (don't know why I didn't do that in the first place)..

Hi, I've been a LONG time blackberry user, I currently have a Blackberry 8820 on Cingular Prepay (yes, fully working) and want to move on to getting a curve from my carrier (I have US Cellular as my primary)....

I have a Captive Works CW-4000HD FTA receiver that is capable of streaming, I currently use it to stream to my HTC Titan using CorePlayer.

Question:

Would I be able to stream to a Blackberry 8820 or Curve? is a special media player needed?

for streaming video - you need to upgrade OS to 4.5 up. Then you can watch m.youtube.

for streaming radio - I use radio nobex radio companion. Work fine and i love it.

i use curve 8300.
