Back up Desktop Manager on Sandisk?

I have a 2G San Disk. Wanted to know if it was possible to load desktop software and back up my blackberry on it?

You mean load Desktop Manager on your PC right? You can't install apps on the media card. You might could store the back ups on the card if the card was in your PC, but I don't think you could do that while the card is in your BlackBerry.

Are you talking about an external usb 2gb drive? I don't know if you can install dm to a flash drive, but you should certainly be able to backup your bb to it. Sorry if that's not what you're talking about.

Yeah I have a 2G San Disk flash drive. The ones you put on your keychain. My computer just went "BLOW" so I was wondering if I could download DeskTop Manager to the flash drive and then back up the info on my BB useing a public computer

I don't think you can load dm onto a flash drive. Shouldn't be an issue backing up to it though.

Although it's not possible now, you have to admit, a portable version of DM would be kinda slick though.
