Capital Letter Question

Hi, does anyone know how to stop the blackberry from automatically capitalizing letters? The first letter at the start of a sentence automatically becomes a capital, which is proper in my adult opinion, but my daughter does not think it is cool. Thanks.

Only way is to type the first letter, backspace or delete it, and type it again. It will say in lower case.

Not really. In a password field, the first character is not automatically capitalized.

I have had items kicked back because of the caps. Was I mistaken?

hmmm, in my experience the BB knows it is in a PW field (hence the ****) and normally does not enter the auto-capped initial letter.

My problem has been that -I- might hold down the letter key too long and THAT will unintentionally capitalize a letter.
