Blackberry profiles on a Pearl 8100

Hello,
I was wondering anyone could help me figure out what the difference is between each profile on the BB Pearl?

Loud-
Vibrate-
Quiet-
Normal-
Phone Only-
Off{Active}

What is the difference between off, phone only and quiet??
What is Phone only?
I would really appreciate anyone's help & reply.

Profiles are basically like Sound Themes in Windows. They're alert settings (tone/vibrate/led/none) that you can quickly switch. Out of the box they're pretty much what the name implies. They're all customizable though so one person's profile might not match yours.

If you want to see how each profile is set up then choose Advanced from the Profile selection menu. You can then go into each Profile and specifically see how each alert is set.

Phone Only should only have a ringtone for phone calls set and no other alerts.

Keep in mind that in addition to editing Profiles you can also create your own Profiles.
