AT&T Curve 8310 not working with Jabra BT 250 bluetooth

Hi there folks.

I need to pair my old and reliable Jabra BT 250 to my corporate phone, an AT&T Curve 8310.

This same Jabra works fine with my old Treo 650, the new Google Phone Tmobile G1 and a relatively new Samsung that my wife uses.

With the BB it can be paired, but I have no sound. I only hear cracks and noises.

Any hint? Suggestions?
