RSS is kinda like what a newspaper is when compared to television.

RSS is news stories or feeds that are constantly updated but with no pictures, videos or flash. You can scroll through the feed and get the synopsis of the story wit the option to read the whole story.

As stated earlier Viigo is an excellent app that is customizable so you only get the information that you want. Viigo (http://viigo.com/home)

I had the AP app for a while which was very cool also except you could not customize the feeds.

Since you guys pretty much covered it, Viigo also adds a few extra built in features, Weather, Travel, eBooks, Podcasts (somewhere down the line)

Sorry! Sometimes when I look up stuff like that, in the explanation there are other things I don't understand and I'm still lost. I'm techno challenged but have been making an effort to learn more.
