Sorry, I bought my first blackberry. Iam from Portugal (Europe) and BB Bold finnaly arrive. I always saw people in US using blackberry volume up down controls i think it is to scrooling messages or ebooks.
If it is how can i configure my BB Bold

You can reconfigure the left and right side convenience keys via OPTIONS > SCREEN/KEYBOARD > RIGHT SIDE CONVENIENCE KEY OPENS and LEFT SIDE CONVENIENCE KEY OPENS

AFAIK, there is no way to change the functionality of the volume up/down keys.
