Blackberry 8820 - Sms Help Please

Hello, my first thread on these forums was answered really quickly and helpfully, but i unfortunetly have 1more..
On my blackberry 8820 when i recieve an sms it shows their number and not their name even though i have that number saved in my address book, example i have saved 012345679 in my addressbook as Fred, when fred sends me a sms it shows 0123456789 and not their name so i always have to go into my address book first and compare the numbers to find out who sent the sms.
I went into options > General options > Display name; and turn it on Yes. but it didn't help anything except from when i compose and send it to someone it shows the name of who i sent it to.. can i somehow see names to everything all the time? Thanks

Go into the Phone Dialer, click the menu button and selection Options.

Go into Smart Dialing and make sure the Country Code is set properly.

Thanks i'll test it in the morning because i had just emptied my inbox.. which was quite stupid, but i'll let you know :)

1 more thing, when i call someone i'm shown as anonymous
in the phone dialers options > general options > show my number is YES
but it still shows me as anonymous, Restrict my identity is off, does it have anything to do with that?
