How to clean or change trackwheel

Guys,

Anybody can advice, how can I service (clean) the trackwheel for my 8700g ?
It feels non responsive, and I intend to try to clean it first before decide whether to change it or not.

you can try to take it apart or you can use compressed air and one of the nozzles to try and move some stuff around.
the trouble with option 2 is that you will blow whatever is around the trackwheel deeper into the area.

You can purchase the track wheel here if you choose to replace it.

But in order to remove and replace the track wheel you need to be pretty experienced. I wouldn't recommend replacing it yourself
