I quit a job but still have the blackberry, how can I make sure that the old work can't see my e-mail or PINs?

Cool. If you go to options>security options>general settings>press menu key>select "wipe handheld" and type in blackberry when prompted.

This will erase the device, including all the service books for the BES the device was associated with, effectively breaking that connection. This will sever any communications with that server, including any monitoring.

if there is an policy on the device as well because of the BES you will want to get rid of that by installing JL_cmder and using the reset to factory option once JL_cmder is open... that will delete the IT policy and get your device back to the way it was when you pulled it out of the box

options, security options, general settings, and it should be at the bottom there and say if there is an it policy
