Hi everyone, I have a question. I've searched around the forum a lot, but I'm getting really mixed up answers that confuse me a little, so I thought I'd ask instead. My questions are, I have 2 BBs models 7130e & 7230 (thought it might say 7250, it's too small to be sure). I want to send them to a friend in Mexico, but both are on Verizon and neither have SIM cards (that I can see). Can they be unlocked to be used in another country? or are they bound to Verizon forever? Thanks in advance for any help, it'll be greatly appreciated!

If it is a Verizon device, it is a 7250.

And no, they cannot be "unlocked" like GSM devices. If your friend uses one of the CDMA providers in Mexico, then he/she/it can probably use the device. You will simply need to get the MSL for the devices from Verizon.
