I was playing Texa Holdem King 2
When I "connected" to join a game, this time it is sitting with the display indicating that it is connecting. It has been doing this for about 1/2 hour. I can't get the game to respond to quit. Is there a way for force an application to quit.

Depending on your phone. If it is a 7100t, try hitting the "Red Phone" button (hang up). That usually kills my hung apps.

Sorry for not providing more info. I have a 7520. I ended up pulling the battery. Is there something else I could have done. Is there danger in pulling the battery?
