Carrier Change

Hi Guys: I have a quick question,and thanks in advance for your assistance.

I was given a Blackberry 8100 from AT&T,and I would like to use it with my current carrier t-mobile. I already tried with my tmobile Sim card,and the telephone works fine.
My question is,if I want to subscribe the email and data service with t-mobile with this phone having the AT&T software installed on it, Will I have problems not having the t-mobile software,or it does not make a difference since the software is from RIM,and it migth work?
If not should I uninstall the AT&T software,and installed the one provided by t-mobile instead?

You can add the data to your plan without any problems. You don't need to change your OS to a T-Mobile released version.
