Can I send an appointment from BB?

I'm fairly new to the BB. I have the Nextel 8350i model. I have connected it to my yahoo email account and can receive and accept appointments. After doing so, it drops the appointment onto my BB calendar.

I can't figure out how to send an appointment out from the BB. Does anyone know how this is done? The only email account on my device is my yahoo account, so I'm assuming they would have to be sent using that. Any ideas? Thanks!

Create a new calendar item and IN THAT screen you will have the option to invite attendees.
