My blackberry Curve has mysteriously reformatted itself or one of my family memebers hit some keys they shouldn't have. The bottom line is my BB which was fully loaded with information, which of course hasn't been sync'ed in several months (my bad) and it is all gone. Does anyone know how I can recover the information, most importantly the address book?

No way to get it back sorry. Without a backup

If they reformatted it - typed the password in wrong and followed the prompt to type "blackberry", or went into Security and chose Wipe, it's been wiped to factory-fresh status. There is no "undo" for that.

Always always always backup. If the data is important then back it up. Doesn't matter where the data is stored (PC, BB, online).

You might want to check File Free via Options->Status to make sure you're not running low on device memory. The BB will delete data to free up space in such cases.
