Hello, all. I'm new here and have a few questions.

I've been looking to replace my current phone (Pantech Duo...piece of crap) with a Blackberry 8320, thing is that my contract doesn't expire until next year. Cingular's website says that they do carry the 8320, but it's about $350 for the no-contract price.

I began to search on eBay for the phone, but all I can find are the T-Mobile Unlocked versions. Do AT&T users just not want to give up their 8320's, or is there some other reason?

I know that if I went with an unlocked T-Mobile version I can use it on the AT&T network, but will the T-Mobile crap still be on it? Also, since AT&T offers the 8320, will the WiFi be fully-functional?

I just switched to Verizon ( at&t has bad service in my new apt ) and I have a month old at&t 8320 unlocked. I wonder what it's worth? No scratches.

This site is probably your best bet for finding an unlocked 8320.

And also this from the FAQ - good info for buying a used BB from eBay or elsewhere: Buying a BlackBerry off eBay - BlackBerryFAQ (http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Buying_a_BlackBerry_off_eBay)

The 8320 is pretty new to at&t.

It really doesn't matter whose 8320 you use as long as it is unlocked.
