Is there a way to work on my calendar and contacts list from the desktop of my computer and then sync to my blackberry? If so, what calendar do I use" Is Outlook the one I need to work on my desktop?

Yes, you can add anything to your outlook calendar and contacts and then sync with desktop manager

jjmach is perfectly right, just use the desktop manager to sync all your data over.

Alternativly, what email providor do you use? there are certain providors such as gmail who provide apps which sync this kind of data wirelessly with the data you input on your online calander.
