Blackberry+Iphone headphones

Will the iPhone headphones, with the mic, work on the Blackberry 8900?

Yes they should, but all of the functions may not work the same as with the iPhone.

I know the zBuds and ZMODA vibe ii units work well, but do not control the media player as well (i.e. no skip, or next/previous track).

As long as it fits in the port you should be fine.. I actually for 2 different wired headset for my Curve/8830. lol. (not counting my JawBone headset)

I've done it. It works just fine. Even the button works to answer and hang up calls or to pause and play music.

Yes. I notice most of the wired headphones have adapters anyway
