test it out and let us know...
all you have to do to get is just add the data mapi or remove the data mapi. Unless you uninstalled the entire BCM.

I tried it, it doesn't work.
What I did is I dragged and dropped my BCM database (Business Contacts in Business Contact Manager) addresses I wanted on the BB to the "Contacts" database in MS Outlook with BCM, then I synchronized between MS Outlook (which used the info in the Contacts database) and the BB with no problem.

I had the same issue with our CEO. He wants BCM and we have Exchange. The only work-around I came up with was to copy the contacts from BCM I wanted into the regular "contacts" of my PST. According to RIM....
Note: The Business Contact Manager feature of Outlook 2003, which is a personal information management (PIM) add-on, is not supported by BlackBerry Desktop Software. Blackberry Desktop Software does not fully support the new Cached Exchange Mode feature.

How did you do that without exporting the data. I need to do the same thing.

I use BCM and would like a better option than copying into Contacts too. Is there anywhere we can voice our support for providing this option?

That is all we use here is cached mode. We have not found any problems with it. The only ting our users notice is that they get emails on their blackberries about a second or two faster than in Outlook.
What problems has anyone heard of that is caused by cached mode?

Hi.
we can write off a solution for outlook 2003, but perhaps we can get it for 07.
if blackberry managment is listening......we NEED this service, we are USING ms bcm, and if you are not interested in supporting this ms product, we'll have to move to ms's device that they are building to compete directly with our beloved bberrys.
