i´m looking for an edit_able excel program for my BB 8800 (V 4.2..... !!!!)
can anybody please recomend sth. ???

Either upgrade your Blackberry's OS to 4.5 and get DocumentsToGo (and SheetsToGo) for free, or stay as you are on OS 4.2 and look at apps like eCell or FreeCell, GripMagic.

Yea 4.5 DTG is great, and the 8830 has been seeing some official releases recently lately.

With 4.2.2 you don't have too many options, and that's why the 4.5 was so big for BlackBerry (along with HTML Email)

I have OS version 4.5.0.110 on my 8820, but the only docs to go visible are powerpoint and word. Can anyone tell me how to get Excel installed???

Open one of the programs and request the upgrade. It will install Sheet to Go.
