Stupid question I know.

I bought this phone off of EBay, it's from a carrier in South America.

Anyways, I'm on Rogers and it works, so I assume it's unlocked. But is there a way to know for sure? I know I could test it by plugging in another carrier's sim, but I don't have access to one.

thx,

Yes.

On the 9000:
1. Options > Advanced Options > SIM Card
2. Type "mepd"

All items under Personalization should read "Disabled".
