email notification stuck "on" Bold

I have three email accounts, one of which constantly shows unread email even when there are zero emails in the box (both online on on the Bold). I have uninstalled and reinstalled that email address, but it continues to who email when none exist. Any thoughts? Many thanks.

1. Check in your "Saved Messages" folder. Sometimes e-mails hide in there.

2. Try pulling the battery.

3. Send yourself a test e-mail, open it and delete it. Sometimes that will "push" the e-mail indicator to a cleared status.

Are all email accounts on the same host (@<hidden>)

You might want to try and wipe the Bold and start over.
