Im just wondering if theres any way at all to retreive a text message that was deleted? I've heard that it is possible on a BB cause its like a computer and holds everything in the hard drive, is this correct???

No that is NOT correct.

However, if you make frequent backups of your data, then you could restore your SMS database. That's the only way to retrieve deleted SMS messages.

Further, BlackBerry devices do not have hard drives, they have a limited amount of flash memory.

thanks for the quick replies, so if I back it up now will I be able to retreive any thing for 2mths ago?

No.

The backup will only contain what's on the device now.

If you've already deleted a text and don't have a backup, it's gone.

If you get important SMS messages pretty often, then you should do frequent backups.

I recommend doing frequent backups regardless if you get important messages or not. You never know when you will need it.
