I did a search over this forum but so far, I've found none expected result.

Can anyone tell me, am I able to install general 8700 firmwares (such as At&T firmware mentioned above) to my T-Mobile 8700g? Is this the safe thing to do?

I think that AT&T has only 8700c so this might be problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you can install any 8700 firmware on any 8700 device, just not the 8707 firmware on 8700 or 8700 firmware on 8707 device.

I don't get it.
I want to use 8700M_PBr4.5.0_rel152_PL2.7.0.90_A4.5.0.110_AT&T.exe on 8700g , and I just want to know if this is possible?
I don't ask for downloads.

As wingrider stated, you can install any carrier's OS on your 8700 as long as it is an OS for the 8700 and not another model.

Make sure you remove the vendor.xml file and welcome to the forums.
