I am thinking about buying an unlocked 8830. I have a personal phone on T-Mobile and a company phone on Verizon. Ideally I would like to have a phone that would receive signals from both providers simultaneously BUT I know thats asking too much. My question is that if I had my phone switched to T-mobile can I set the phone to forward the Verizon phone calls to the T-Mobile number?
Thanks!

Huh?

You can't use an 8830 on T-Mobile. Maybe I misunderstood the question?

My understanding is that an 8830 through Verizon is locked to Vodaphone for overseas use. If you unlock it you can use it on US providers

An 8830 from Verizon can only be used on Verizon in the US and on GSM carriers overseas (assuming the SIM card has been activated for international use).

You cannot use it on any other US carriers.

A locked one yes, an unlocked one?

An unlocked 8830 can still only be used on GSM carriers overseas as juwaack said. The 8830 does not support North American GSM frequencies.

Sounds good, lets assume I was talking about the storm. I see that the storm will support the 1900 MHz. Will that work?
