View Full Version : Honduras on an 8830 World Edition

So I bought this 8830 so I could use it when I travel in the Carribean and Central America. Two weeks ago, Honduras showed up on Bell Canada's website as having service, then it disappeared.

I called Bell and the CSR speculated that it was likely a "contract issue" with the Honduran Telco. Great. Phone is useless...

I am thinking of moving over to a Rogers phone which uses GSM system.

Has anyone made a similar switch and if so, how did it work in Central America and the Carribean?
