Hi all,
Was wondering if buying a BB Curve 8900 is worth the premium over the 8320. I just want something with WiFi (which both have), ability to check my emails and read a few websites, something with a good quality phone.
Also, how much of a difference is 3G (available only on Bold but maybe to be released on upcoming Curve model-- should I wait for that?)

Thanks.

You can compare them at Blackberry.com and in person. Worth is subjective. You'll have to look at them and decide if one is worth more than the other to you.

3G is definitely faster but, again, you'll have to determine if it's a feature that matters to you. If you're only going to use the BB for email the difference will be negligible. If you want to tether or browse the web it can make a difference.

wifi is the same on the 8900 as it is on the 8320. However, differences may be due to the 8900's faster processor.

Has anyone tried both 8900 and 8320 on Wifi and regular connections? I'm not sure whether the speed will be a lot faster on the 8900 vs the 8320 enough to justify the price difference of $150. I mean the 8900 doesn't even have 3G.

The 8900 also has GPS.

yeah but i don't think GPS would be that useful... I just want something for email/internet/phone and i have an ipod for music
my biggest concerns are speed on internet (but i wouldn't be downloading a lot of attachments) and price

Web on the 8900 is faster than the 8320 if your not using Wifi...personally coming from someone that has used both and has access to a 8320. The 8900 is superior in the OS and also the size. Keyboard is a plus (some say differently), plus the trackball is better, etc

Went from 8320 to 8900. The 8900 OS, size, speed, looks, screen, sound, is all worth more than $150 more to me. But I only paid $170 for mine anyway 8-)
